Posted: April 27, 2009 10:46:19

Brothers,

If you or someone you know is a chemical engineer and looking for a job or looking for something new, we at Dielectic Laboratories may be interested in you!

We are hoping to find someone with at least a couple of years experience in a manufacturing environment rather than just lab experience.

We are a ceramics house that produces passive electrical components that use our ceramics as dielectrics. We build the components from scratch starting with the raw materials to produce the ceramic dielectrics.

For more info or if interested please give me a call @ 315-655-0434

Restructuring Sigma Chi Iota

Posted: April 6, 2009 08:37:40
As you will see below, a core officership was maintained in accordance with the bylaws. Aside from those positions, three committees were developed to attack various aspects of important issues the corporation and the undergradutate chapter are facing. This structure was implemented for a few reasons:

  1. Giving everyone fancy titles and various isolated issues and projects to work on was not working.
  2. It was recommended (I believe over a game of beirut) at the reunion.
  3. Choosing three committees helped us categorize issues that need work and hopefully help each other out on specific actions/projects over the course of the year.
  4. Developing standing committees will hopefully look enticing for all those who were not lucky enough to be voted Trustees, but still want to help out. You can pick out one of the committees below that fits your special talent or pet-peeve and get involved.

The following positions were left in tact as "Officers" of the Board of Trustees:

  • President - Chris Marinucci a.k.a. Humpster
  • Secretary - Rich Malcolm
  • Treasurer - James Matteson
  • Property Manager - Brandon Warner

The newly created Committees, chairmen, assitants, and respective responsibilities are outlined below.

Undergraduate Operations - Bob Michaud a.k.a. "Fish" with assistance from Warner, Marinucci, Cruden (Consul)

  • I-week involvement
  • RMF
  • Contact with Greek Advisor and Dean of Students
  • Alumni/Undergrad E-board Retreat
  • House
  • Undergrad/Alumni News Letter

Corporate Operations - Adam Sokolowski with assistance from Malcolm, Rosiek

  • Alumni & Events
  • Alumni Communications
  • University Communications
  • GAC
  • Smile & Dial

Strategic Planning - Jeremy Ganse with assistance from Gotie, Matteson, Brian Conway

  • Fundrasing
  • 25 year plan
  • On campus housing
  • Long term Investments/Revenue Generation
If you have any questions or want to volunteer to help out immediately, contact any of the Trustees listed above at their email link. More specific requests for assistance on defined activities and projects will be forthcoming.

New Baby Girl

Posted: October 13, 2008 12:00:42
Brothers,

I just wanted to pass on the good news that our second child was born last Tuesday.

Analiese Renae Hannum was born Oct 7, weighing 8 lbs 2 oz, 21 inches long.

Mom, baby, and big brother Everett are doing great.  we are all back at home now, the family has left, and now we are starting to get back to normal (or as normal as things get when you have a new baby in the house)

New Job, soon to have new baby

Posted: September 23, 2008 07:39:25
Howdy all,

A lot has been going on in the Hannum household ... I am done with my assignment as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Flight Commander, and I am now a full time grad student at the University of Delaware.

I enjoyed the time in EOD, but I am looking forward to actually seeing my family for more than a few weeks at a time.  The move come just in time as we are awaiting the arrival of our second child.  I'll post more when she gets here.

In Hoc,
Trig
